<p>What it really all comes down to is a desire to live a healthier life. There are so many reasons that toxins build up in our bodies over time, and when this happens it can cause all sorts of problems.</p>
<p><em><strong>What are these problems you ask? </strong></em></p>
<p>Take a look at this list of what can go wrong when you have a toxic system:</p>

<p><strong><em>Why do the toxins build up in the first place? </em></strong></p>
<p>A combination of poor diet and lack of exercise can lead to many issues including parasites living inside your body. Poor digestion often results, leaving unprocessed foods inside the body resulting in problems due to built up waste and toxins. 			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Today I want to discuss the importance of avoiding <strong>psoriasis triggers</strong>. You might be surprised by the number of people who suffer from psoriasis at any given time. Among Caucasians, it&#8217;s believed to affect about 2.5% of the population, which is an extremely large number.</p>
<p>Although the numbers may be a bit lower for other races, it&#8217;s still a big problem. The unfortunate thing about psoriasis is the fact that doctors claim there is really no way to cure it. Although there are some <a href="http://www.psoriasisessentials.com/">natural psoriasis treatments</a> that work very well, it&#8217;s always better if you can avoid having psoriasis in the first place.</p>
<p><em>What we do know&#8230;</em></p>
<p>Psoriasis is the result of skin cells coming to the surface far too quickly. It&#8217;s normal for the skin to go through a cycle where it sheds itself and rejuvenates, but this process typically takes up to a month to occur. For the psoriasis sufferer, the skin cells in the affected area rise to the surface and mature within a week and quickly flake off. This causes a problem that can be anywhere from mildly annoying to downright painful.</p>
<p><em>Avoiding triggers&#8230;</em></p>
<p>One of the best things that you can do if you have psoriasis is to avoid some of the triggers that aggravate the condition. Triggers such as stress, overexposure to the sun, injury due to  scratching or chemicals, and even eating the wrong types of foods are the most common.</p>
<p>Because so many different types of things can trigger psoriasis, it&#8217;s usually necessary to look for the specific triggers that apply to your individual situation. Once you&#8217;re able to identify these factors, it&#8217;s simply a matter of avoiding them whenever possible. Even when it&#8217;s impossible to avoid them entirely, by limiting your exposure to them you&#8217;ll be able to make a big difference in the way psoriasis impacts your life.</p>
<p>Although you still need to seek out ways to treat psoriasis once you have it, you&#8217;ll find it often takes time to find the perfect combination of remedies that work for you. For now, work on avoiding triggers so you can cut down on the problems the condition creates for you.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>One way to help cleanse and detoxify your body is to drink a tasty concoction of lemon juice, water and cayenne pepper in the morning. Now, I have done this before and let me tell you&#8230; I didn&#8217;t enjoy it much. In fact, it was tough choking it all down.</p>
<p>Of course I should note that some detox drinks taste better than others and there are actually several drink recipes included in my <em><strong>&#8220;<a href="http://www.basicbodydetox.com">Basic Body Detox</a>&#8220;</strong></em> guide. It&#8217;s always a good idea to start with one you think you&#8217;ll actually like.</p>
<p>Ok, so back to the lemon thing&#8230; I know how helpful it can be to include a bit of lemon in the water you drink. In addition to helping with detoxification, it actually helps the water taste better for many people who don&#8217;t normally enjoy the taste, and it adds a few vitamins as well. I&#8217;ve always liked water &#8211; if it&#8217;s filtered &#8211; so drinking plenty of it has never really been a problem and I&#8217;ve ignored the lemon thing for the most part.</p>
<p>Well, the other day I was at the grocery store and saw a big pile of lemons in the produce aisle. I thought it would be wise to give the old water and lemon drink a try once more (without the cayenne for now) so I bought ONE lemon.</p>
<p>This morning I cut the lemon into 4 pieces and squeezed the juice of one section into an 8 ounce glass. I then filled it up with filtered water from the fridge and&#8230; I actually enjoyed it! In fact, I would have enjoyed it even more with a heavier concentration of lemon juice. Tomorrow I think I&#8217;ll try half the lemon and see how it goes. And who knows.. I may need to plant a lemon tree of my own if this habit catches on!</p>

<p>If you&#8217;re feeling like everything is getting on top of you, or you&#8217;re finding it difficult to cope and function as you normally do or perhaps you&#8217;re feeling down in the dumps, then try these 5 easy stress relief tips.</p>
<p><strong>1.</strong> My favourite stress relief tip of all. Take a relaxing bath. Add music, candles and a glass of your favourite drink: beer, tea, hot chocolate, wine or even champagne. Close the door and forget about everything else for an hour or so. This helps to increase levels of calmness and the calmer we feel, the less likely we are to get stressed out or depressed. A luxurious way to find stress relief.</p>
<p><strong>2.</strong> Comedy night: get in your favourite nibbles: chips, tortillas, salsa, crackers, cheese, pizza, chocolate, cookies, ice cream etc. Crack open a bottle of wine or pour yourself a beer or two and spend a full evening watching your favourite funny films or comedians. Finding stress relief through laughter will raise your spirits and is a great antidote to the pressures of modern life.</p>
<p><strong>3.</strong> Need stress relief quickly but feel overwhelmed? Get out of the firing line. Just scoot off for some peace and quiet for a day or better still a weekend or a week. Take a journal, relax and gather your thoughts. When you&#8217;re under pressure or struggling to cope with a major situation or event in life, seeing solutions to problems can be really difficult. Distance from problems can bring clarity. I love going to the coast when I feel like this and it always, without fail, helps me to quickly find stress relief and the calmer I am, the easier I discover solutions. I don&#8217;t know why, but being near the ocean helps me find stress relief almost instantly. Being near water, come to think of it.</p>
<p><strong>4.</strong> Find stress relief and feel great by indulging in massage. Share a massage with your partner &#8211; create a relaxing atmosphere by softening the lights and have oils and towels to hand. Lavender oil is particularly relaxing. Or, treat yourself to a massage from a professional masseur or masseuse. For a really invigorating massage, visit a Turkish baths if you&#8217;re fortunate enough to have one nearby. Well, for one thing it causes embarrassment to many sufferers because of its appearance. It can be tough to hide the ugly red lesions covered by itchy, silvery scales.</p>
<p>Some people are lucky though and have it appear on areas that are not visible by the public at large. Even in these cases though, the condition can cause a lot of itching and even pain.</p>
<p><strong>What Should You Do If You Have Psoriasis?</strong></p>
<p>There are a number of ways to treat psoriasis and many of them are completely natural. As with a number of health-related conditions, drinking more water can also help.
